Management as applied to business activities in its degree form is popularly referred to in the university system as MBA. However it is necessary to recognize that management as a discipline is not totally confined to business nor it is just administration. It has its own core body of knowledge and distinct method. It is understood that management students come from a very wide range of backgrounds and they have to be put through carefully planned programs of preparation of management education.
A candidate seeking admission to two years full time or three year part time MBA and allied course should be a graduate or a postgraduate in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate of any registered Indian University or Foreign University or Institute recognised by the concerned university as equivalent thereto. The graduation should be with three years of regular study after passing 12th class examination of 10+2 scheme or equivalent.
A final year student can appear in the Entrance Test on provisional basis. But such a candidate has to produce the certificate of having passed the Bachelor's or Master's Degree Examination with at least 50% marks at the time of admission. The admissions for the institute are governed by rules and regulations of Professional Examination Board, Govt. of M.P.
Management Entrance Test (MET) is conducted by Professional Examination Board, Govt.of M.P. on notified dates. The admissions are through Professional Examination Board (PEB/Vyapam), Govt.of M.P. The Calendar is released by Professional Examination Board, Govt.of M.P.
Admissions are given through counseling conducted by Directorate of Technical Education(DTE) on the basis of merit list(category wise), declared by Professional Examination Board(Vyapam) based on the Written Test, GD and Inverview.
