3 DAYS ROBOTICS WORKSHOP HELD FROM 21st TO 24th Mar’14 BY ELECTRONICS & COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING DEPTT. The workshop has begun with the Introduction on basics of electronics circuit design, Microcontroller & Robotics, the workshop proceeded to discussion on electronic circuitry design and implementation.Main focus was given to the electronic components like register, diode, transistor, op-amps, power supplies, driving mechanisms, actuators, motors etc. At the end HANDS ON ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT DESIGN session took place.

Dr. M.G. Vishweswaraiya Jayanti was celebrated on 17th Sept. 2012. Advisor/Principal, Faculty, Staff & Students of HCET after garlanding his statue, focused their lecture on achievements of Bharat Ratna Shri Vishweswaraiya . Technical activities in different departments were organised at this occasion.

Oath taking ceremony of HECCA, HCET Jabalpur was organised on 17th Sept. 2012 in the seminar hall. It was announced that gathering/get together of pass outs during 2001-2011 will be arranged at HCET JBP during last week of Dec. 2012.

Tata Consultancy Services have conducted one day workshop on 09 Oct. 2012 concentrating on PRESENTING YOURSELF FOR IT INDUSTRY-EMPLOYABILITY SKILLS. Three members from T.C.S. have covered nearly all FAQ during campus through PPT presentation. Around 200 students from all branches participated in the work shop and took benefits from workshop. This program was organised by T.P.O. Cell.

Two days pro-E Workshop during 11th & 12th Oct. 2012 was organised by Mech Engg Deptt of HCET JBP During this workshop four representative from CADD Centre, conducted various activities like sketching, creating base feature, pick & place feature, assembly modeling, mechanism & drafting. About 106 students of BE III/V & VII Sem mech participated & benefited.

An invited guest lecture on “Dynamic Entrepreneurship” was delivered on 15th Oct. 2012 through PPT presentation. In his lecture Shri O.P.Kushwaha Addl. General Manager, O.F.K. Jabalpur covered various aspect of self employment and qualities of entrepreneur. About 150 students of B.E. VII sem & V sem Mech & B.E. VII sem of other branches attended the lecture.

On 12th Oct. 2012 Blood Donation Camp under the supervision at Indian Red Cross Society Jabalpur branch was organised in HCET. During this blood donation camp about 140 students have donated the blood. Teams of Doctors from Medical College Jabalpur & Lady Elgin Hospital have supervised collection of blood.

Cultural Edge : Education is not only the criterion which shapes a student's personality, many other factors like cultural awareness, sports activities etc. reshape the weak mud pot into hard metal vessels. Apart from providing plain vanilla education to the students, HCET endeavours to promote overall development of the students by fusing education with cultural and sports activities.

College Day Function : Amidst the usual fun, frolic and festivities the College Day function "SHANSKAR - 2008" was celebrated on 29th FEB 2008 at Manas Bhavan.

Play, Singing, Dance, Mr. Fresher 2008, Ms. Fresher 2008, Cricket - Man of the Series, Badminton, Football Trophy,

Apart from this, our students actively participated in various competitions such as Debate, Extempore, Mehandi, Rangoli, Poetry, Quiz, Painting, Gift Wrapping, etc. organized on state level, intercollegiate level Hitkarini Vidya Parishad and within the college.

National Level Seminars : The institution has organized a National Conference on Renaissance of I.T.
New Capabilities, New Opportunities on the 24th and 25th January 2004 which was inaugurated by Justice Gulab Gupta,Vice Chancellor, Rani Durgavati Vishwavidyalaya, Jabalpur.

Advancement in Engineering and Technology with special emphasis on CAD / CAM : The institution has organized a National Conference on Advancement in Engineering & Technology with special emphasis on CAD/CAM which was inaugurated by Hon'ble Speaker of Assembly, Madbya Pradesh. Following prominent speakers from Industry and Academia enlightened the students on various advancements.

Blood Donation Camp : Our students actively participate in social activities as well. 80 boys 10 girls and 5 staff members of our college denoted their blood in blood donation campbeing organised by Netaji Subhash chandra Bose Medical College of Jabalpur.

Inernational Exposure : Dubai Feast - "GETEX" Gulf Education & Training Exhibition was held at Dubai International Exhibition Centre. The Hitkarini College of Engg. & Technology also participated with the aim to recruit students for admission under NRI quota. The exhibition attracted over 1 million below the age group of 18 years and 2 million people between the age of group of 18-40 years. The show also attracted visitors fro the gulf countries viz. Iraq and its subcontinents, Over 400 acadenmic and training providers from 38 countries contributed towards the success of " GETEX".

Institutional Membership and Students Chapters : HCET is actively involved in the opening of the students chapter of Institution of Engineers(India)Kolkata. HCET probably will be the first institutional member of the Institution of Engineers among all Engg.colleges of M.P.

Spic Macay : Hitkarini Sabha feels proud to be associated w'ith a movement called SPIC-MACAY (Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amonst Youth) an affinnation of a priceless cultural heritage rooted in what is essentially Indian.
