NATIONAL SERVICE SHCEME CAMP ...

National Service Scheme Programme 2014-15

State level N.S.S Camp

Seven days National N.S.S. Camp, organized by M.P.Govt. from 12/03/2015 to 18/03/2015 in Maihar. 02 students of our college participated.

University level N.S.S Camp

Seven days N.S.S. Camp, organized by M.P.Govt.R.D.V.V., Jabalpur from 29th March 2015 to 04th April 2015 in Mandla. 06 students of our college participated.

One Day NSS Camp

One Day NSS Camp was organized on the occasion of NSS Day .i.e., 24th Sept 2014 at Ramnagara village, Tilwara, Jabalpur. The camp was organized in collaboration with Hitkarini Dental College & Hospital, in which free dental check up for villagers was done. The volunteers surveyed the village going door-to-door and collected data of amenities required for the villagers.

Seven Days N.S.S Camp

NSS unit of HCET organized seven days NSS Camp from 18/04/2015 to 23/04/2015 at Village Ramnagara, Tilwara, Jabalpur. Twenty five students of HCET and twenty five from HDCH successfully participated in this camp. In these seven days camp number of fruitful activities were performed .The camp started its activities on the first day of this camp on 18.4.2015 with public relation, campus cleanliness and plantation.

The second day, 19.4.2015 information concerning the various schemes for women and child health were supplied.

The Third Day, 20.4.2015 Dental camp sponsored by Hitkarini Dental College, Jabalpur was organized for the benefit of villagers.

On the Fourth Day, i.e., 21.4.2015 information regarding water conservation, cleanliness and environmental awareness, traffic, rally was taken out through the village spreading awareness about the illness of alcoholism & drugs.

On the Fifth Day, i.e., 22.4.2015 Modern farming techniques and agribusiness related knowledge was given to the villagers, certificate distribution and a cultural function for closing ceremony.

On the Last Day, i.e., 23.3.2014, Clothing distribution and other social work were performed.


8/03/2014 to 13/03/2014 at Gram Bhamnoda, Jabalpur (M.P)

NSS unit of HCET organized seven days NSS Camp from 8/03/2014 to 13/03/2014 at Gram Bhamnoda, Jabalpur. Fifty five students of HCET successfully participated in this camp. In these seven days camp number of fruitful activities were performed .The camp started its activities on the first day of this camp on 8.3.2014 with public relation, campus cleanliness and plantation.

The second day, 9.3.2014 information concerning the various schemes for women and child health were supplied.

The Third Day, 10.3.2014 Dental camp sponsored by Hitkarini Dental College, Jabalpur was organized for the benefit of villagers.

On the Fourth Day, i.e., 11.3.2014 information regarding water conservation, cleanliness and environmental awareness, traffic, legal and judicial information were disseminated.

On the Fifth Day, i.e., 12.3.2014 Modern farming techniques and agribusiness related knowledge was given to the villagers.

On the Sixth Day, i.e., 13.3.2014 organized certificate distribution and closing ceremony.

On the Last Day, i.e., 14.3.2014, the last day of the camp clothing distribution and other social work were performed.


8/02/2014 to 13/02/2014 at Rani Durgawati Samadhi, Jabalpur (M.P)

Seven days National N.S.S. Camp organized by M.P.Govt. R.D.V.V. Jabalpur from 8/02/2014 to 13/02/2014 at Rani Durgawati Samadhi, Jabalpur. 5 students of our college peticipated.


29/01/2013 to 04/02/2013 at Village Jamtra, Jabalpur (M.P)

The NSS Unit of Hitkarini College of Engineering and Technology conducted seven days camp from 29/01/2013 to 04/02/2013 at village Jamtra. Around 25 boys and 20 girl students participated. The camp was inaugurated by the Chairman of Hitkarini Sabha Mr. N. P. Dubey with ‘Tree Plantation’.

The second day, 30/01/2013 on ‘Anti-alcohol Day’ the NSS Volunteers took out a rally along with the students of Jamtra High school in which the villagers were made aware of the disadvantages of alcoholism. On the same day, NGO (Child Care Society) prepared a documentary film for the villagers on the topic of ‘Female Feticide and a Skit play was prepared by the NSS girl cadets on women and child awareness.

The Third Day, 31/01/2013, free Dental check-up camp was organized by ‘Hitkarini Dental College & Hospital’ in which approx 140 students from Jamtra Primary and High School were treated and approx 70 villagers also benefitted through the camp. Along with this, the villagers with serious problems were taken to the Hitkarini Dental College and Hospital for further treatment. On the same day, study material kit was distributed to the students of Jamtra Primary School.

On the Fourth Day, i.e., 01/02/2013, the NSS Volunteers along with the teachers went door-to-door at Jamtra to aware the villagers about cleanliness and conservation of water.

On the Fifth Day, i.e., 02/02/2013, free Eye check-up camp was organized by ‘Chavi Eye Hospital’ under the guidance of Dr. Akhilesh Nema for the villagers of Jamtra. Approx 80 students from Jamtra Primary & High School were treated and approx 70 villagers benefitted through the camp. On the same day, at noon, the President of Hitkarini Enginerring Alumni Asso. (HECAA) Mr. Nitin Jharbade distributed study material kit (writing pad, compass, etc) to 80 girl students of Jamtra School.

On the Sixth Day, i.e., 03/02/2013 the NSS participants gave their service at Govt. High School at Village Jamtra and Goriya Ghat. The volunteers took a tour of the village and paid their homage to River Narmada and organized an evening filled with religious bhajans and songs.

On the Last Day, i.e., 04/02/2013 the Closing ceremony of the camp was organized with Chief Guests Mr. Sammati Saini and Sudarshan Prasad Sonker. The Ceremony was conducted by Mr. Dinesh Singh Thakur.

The Seven-Day NSS Camp was a Major success with the cooperation of NSS Program Officers Dr. Saurabh Saxena and Mr. Dinesh Singh Thakur and the committee members Prof. Pallavi Shukla, Prof. Bindu Bhatt, Prof. Anshuta Sharma, Prof. Vivek Pathak, Prof. Neha Jha, Prof. Neelesh Pandey and Mr. Praveen Shrivastava.
