  The Host

The Hitkarini College of Engineering & Technology, Jabalpur (HCET) was established in 1997 with a mission to promote education in professional courses and to achieve excellence in technical and research. It is run by Hitkarini Sabha, which was established in the year 1968.

Thickly wooded a forestation belt, sprawling lawns and meticulously tended gardens on the natural landscapes where HCET is located, satisfy the parameters of an ancient "GURUKUL". HCET offers six under graduates courses in different branches of Engineering and Technology and PG courses in M.C.A. & M.B.A..

  Location

The College is situated at the outskirt of the city, admits the picturesque nature beauty of Hitkarini Hills, at about 6 KMs from JABALPUR Railway Station, and 3 KMs from Rani Durgawati Viswavidyalaya Jabalpur. The Dumna Airport is located 7 KMs from HCET campus.

"SANSKARDHANI", as Vinobaji quoted, is standing majestically on the banks of river NARMADA which takes its perennial journey though the white marble rock cluster a site known for its picturesque beauty and out-crops of granite rocks in the world. Jabalpur is proud of having a Govt. Engineering College the oldest in the State of Madhya Pradesh, which was establish in the year of independence.

In addition to this, there are two Universities viz., Jawahar Lal Nehru Agricultural University and Rani Durgawati University and other institutes like Telecom Training Center, College of Materials Management, Signal Training Centre and many more colleges and institutions in various facilities.

The city of JABALPUR is situated in the country on MUMBAI - KOLKATA railway line. The city is linked with the major cities of the country by road through National Highways NH-7 and NH-12, apart from State Highway SH-27. The city is almost midway between Mumbai and KOLKATA and has direct trains to all the metropolitan cites of the country.

The city of JABALPUR is located at an altitude of 411.78m above mean sea level, 23.9N and 97.58E altitude. Weather at Jabalpur during this period will be pleasant and cool, max. temperature between 22-27 degree.

  Guidelines For Paper Submission

Authors are requested to send two copies of the complete paper, along with a soft copy. The paper should be limited to eight papers in A$ size, font size 10 (Arial) and single line spacing in MS-Word 2000/2003. paper must include author's name, designation, e-mail, phone & mobile no etc. Submission will be judged on correctness, originality, technical strength and significance and relevance to the conference. Abstract of the paper should be less than 200 words. The authors may send their papers & abstract by e-mail to hcetncitem08@rediffmail.com. Paper & abstract received on or before due date will be included in the conference proceedings.
