HCET established its Alumni Association immediately after its inception in the year 1997.
It is known as Hitkarini Engineering College Alumni Association (HECAA). All students who take admission in HCET become member of HECAA automatically. The HECAA enjoys the confidence of the ex- students of the college. They guide their juniors by way of their experience in the field. All HOD's are the Ex-officio members of the HECAA. HECAA arranges a reunion meeting of its past students in service every year. This year the meet was organised on 28th February '05 where large number of Ex. students from different parts of country participated. The function was held at Hotel Ashoka it was a great success. Institutional Membership and Students' Chapters HCET is actively involved in the opening of the Students' Chapter of Institution of Engineer (India) Kolkata. HCET probably will be the first Institutional member of Institution of Engineers among all.Engg, Colleges of M.P. Computer Club The basic contribution of the activities of this club comes from the students of Computer Science and Engineering stream of the Institute. The club has been entrusted with the job of preparing for the master plan for computer laboratories and up-gradation of course contents. The club advises the administration on policy matters, besides holding regular activities like interacting with industries, symposiums and seminars on emerging technologies.
Cultural Edge : Education is not only the criterion which shapes a student's personality, many other factors like cultural awareness, sports activities etc. reshape the weak mud pot into hard metal vessels. Apart from providing plain vanilla education to the students, HCET endeavours to promote overall development of the students by fusing education with cultural and sports activities.
College Day Function : Amidst the usual fun, frolic and festivities the College Day function "SHANSKAR - 2008" was celebrated on 29th FEB 2008 at Manas Bhavan.

Apart from this, our students actively participated in various competitions such as Debate, Extempore, Mehandi, Rangoli, Poetry, Quiz, Painting, Gift Wrapping, etc. organized on state level, intercollegiate level Hitkarini Vidya Parishad and within the college.
National Level Seminars : The institution has organized a National Conference on Renaissance of I.T. : New Capabilities, New Opportunities on the 24th and 25th January 2004 which was inaugurated by Justice Gulab Gupta,Vice Chancellor, Rani Durgavati Vishwavidyalaya, Jabalpur. Blood Donation Camp : Our students actively participate in social activities as well. 80 boys 10 girls and 5 staff members of our college denoted their blood in blood donation campbeing organised by Netaji Subhash chandra Bose Medical College of Jabalpur.
Inernational Exposure : Dubai Feast - "GETEX" Gulf Education & Training Exhibition was held at Dubai International Exhibition Centre. The Hitkarini College of Engg. & Technology also participated with the aim to recruit students for admission under NRI quota. The exhibition attracted over 1 million below the age group of 18 years and 2 million people between the age of group of 18-40 years. The show also attracted visitors fro the gulf countries viz. Iraq and its subcontinents, Over 400 acadenmic and training providers from 38 countries contributed towards the success of " GETEX".
