Training & Placement Cell

Hitkarini College of Engineering and Technology has full fledged two separate wings taking care of training and placement activities separately. The two wings i.e. Training wing and the Placement wing together provides comprehensive Job Listings, Career Counseling & training on Industrial Trends to the students of the institution.

The cell is proactively involved in the placement of the final year students and vocational training of the second and pre final year students, apart from organizing various programs including personality development program, technical seminars and discussion with field experts for the betterment of the knowledge of the students. Training and placement cell continuously interact with the corporate world to get the feed back required to improve the teaching methodology for establishing more productive links with the students. The aim of the cell is to ensure the overall development of the students and to enhance the self reliance in the students.

Our Mission is to create an atmosphere of self-directed leadership, self-motivated team-work and self-generated creativity.

Industry Trends with the advent of multinational companies (MNCs) in the country, the requirement of technically qualified people in the field of computer, Information Technology, Electronics etc. has assumed new proportions and dimensions while the traditional engineering branches like Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering are still relevant and job position in these fields never fades. After opening up of the global economy, there has been a manifold increase in job opportunities for trained human resources.

We are happy to share that training programe that has been started from 25th July 2022 on topic AUTO CAD is now success fully completed today 6th Aug 2022. The training programme was completed by MSME inter price named Indo-German tool room pc instructor Mr. ABHAY JHARIA has delivered lecture with hands on for two weeks. Student from Mechanical Engineering & Civil Engineering paarticipated in this training and now groomed on this Z software.

A seminar on Career Opportunities in Defense sector for Engineers conducted at HCET. The entire session was headed by Guest Speaker Retired. Brigadier Mr Vipin Trivedi who explained the various job opportunities present in all three wings of Defense services for Boys and Girls who willing to make their Carrer in armed forces. Apart from that he also enligten the students about 1971 Indo-Pak war in this golden year celebration.

Engineering as a Career

Career counselling seminar on Topic "Engineering as a Career " was organized for Btech students of HCET on 20/09/2021. A renowned speaker Mr. Shivanshu Mehta who is a career counselor of various IIT's & NIT's, an enthusiast, deliverd the seminar and cleared the doubt of the students regarding career choosing. Around 100+ students have attended the session.

Beyond Curriculum

Triggering of this chapter have been done on 20/08/2015 when the delegates from Tata Consultancy Services delivered the motivational talk’s on the induction program of newly admitted student. The Silent faces very soon get turned up into faces of hopes. The Inspiration triggered by Mr. Hemant , Mr Arpit & Ms Pragya changed the perspective of the students .

On 24/08/2015 The second program in this chapter have been added in which the HCET alumni & Tech-Lead Wipro Technologies, Mr Pushpendra Singh delivered the inspirational & technical lecture on How to represent our self during PI & HR – Interview . The does & don’t have been illustrated in well span of 1hr 45 min Students from Final Year of CS/IT/EC are being the part of this inspirational talks .

During this the Head of the institution Dr. Sameer Vaidya , Principal , Dr. Ashish Shrivastava , Training & Placement Officer & Prof. Amit Chandanan , Hod CS is present.
