The Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC-9), organized by the 1 MP Armed Squadron NCC, was held from October 27 to November 5, 2024, at the Old Nehra Company. The camp was a resounding success, marked by various competitions and enriching experiences for the cadets. Among the highlights were the firing and drill competitions, where students from Hitkarini College of Engineering and Technology excelled, winning the Best Drill title. Additionally, Sergeant Prince Kumar Yadav bagged the Best Firing Medal.
Cadets were also taken on an educational visit to Jabalpur Airport and the Military Museum, where they learned about the heroic sacrifices of army personnel through captivating stories and exhibits. Awareness classes on Personality Development and Career options further enhanced the cadets' knowledge and skills.
The camp concluded with a rank ceremony honoring cadets such as Senior Under Officer Vishnu Patel and Under Officers Abhas Mishra, Shruti Mishra, and Diya Jain with well-deserved ranks. The event was graced by dignitaries including CO Anil Yadav, JCO Satyaprakash, CTO Shivya Parashar from Hitkarini College of Engineering and Technology, ANO Jaspal Singh Bagga from Global Engineering College, and ANO Bhavna Pandey from St. Aloysius College, who ensured its successful execution.
