Hitkarini College of Engineering and Technology has full fledged two separate wings taking care of training and placement activities separately. The two wings i.e. Training wing and the Placement wing together provides comprehensive Job Listings, Career Counseling & training on Industrial Trends to the students of the institution.
The cell is proactively involved in the placement of the final year students and vocational training of the second and pre final year students, apart from organizing various programs including personality development program, technical seminars and discussion with field experts for the betterment of the knowledge of the students. Training and placement cell continuously interact with the corporate world to get the feed back required to improve the teaching methodology for establishing more productive links with the students. The aim of the cell is to ensure the overall development of the students and to enhance the self reliance in the students.

Industry Trends with the advent of multinational companies (MNCs) in the country, the requirement of technically qualified people in the field of computer, Information Technology, Electronics etc. has assumed new proportions and dimensions while the traditional engineering branches like Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering are still relevant and job position in these fields never fades. After opening up of the global economy, there has been a manifold increase in job opportunities for trained human resources.
From November 11 to November 18, 2024, Hitkarini College of Engineering and Technology conducted a week-long Invited Talk Series: Bridging Academics & Career to equip students with essential skills for excelling in their professional journeys
The first segment of the event consisted of Corporate Training sessions on November 11 and 13, led by the esteemed Capt. Rajni Pathania Sareen, a seasoned expert in human resource management and leadership development. These sessions focused on critical workplace skills such as interview readiness, professional work culture, dressing sense, overcoming procrastination, and workplace behavior.
Capt. Sareen, a certified POSH trainer, has extensive experience in both national and international roles, including Senior HR Manager, Project Manager, and Freelance Consultant. Her training emphasized critical thinking, conflict resolution, and maintaining composure under pressure, while inspiring participants to achieve optimal performance. Her dedication to professional excellence and mentorship profoundly impacted the students, preparing them to face future career challenges with confidence and resilience.
These sessions underscored the college's commitment to developing students who are not only academically proficient but also adept at navigating the complexities of workplace dynamics.
The second segment, held from November 14 to 18, featured an intensive C++ Programming Workshop conducted by Dr. Rajneesh Agrawal, a distinguished Computer Programmer from the Commercial Tax Department, Jabalpur, MP. With a Ph.D. in Computer Science and over 29 years of professional experience, Dr. Agrawal brought invaluable knowledge and practical expertise to the sessions.
The workshop covered critical topics, including object-oriented programming, memory management, and the fundamentals of data structures, bridging academic concepts with real- world applications. Dr. Agrawal's insights into industry standards offered students a unique opportunity to explore the practical aspects of programming and understand how theory translates into impactful solutions in the tech sector.
